Diy question, help!!?

Question:my wardrobe brace has come off and i cannot screw the screws back in so what glue would work sticking it all?

Answers:
Sounds like you are describing a stripped screw hole. Here's what you do. Put a toothpick in the screw hole and snap it off so it doesn't stick out. When you put your screw back in, the toothpick provides the extra wood you need in the hole to get a solid grip again. Another choice is use a bigger screw this time if possible. You could also use wood filler in the stripped screw hole. Wood filler when dry can be screwed into with a screw.

A pva glue would be sufficient, however to make it strong suggest you buy some metal braces from a diy store, ( pence each) and screw them in as well to help hold together.

Spend no more than £5.
super glue.
could use "liquid nail" available at HD or Lowe's, maybe crazy glue, but keep in mind that if you are going to glue it, it will be permanent!
elephant glu.
Make sure the screw is going into a stud. If it was just screwed into drywall it will pull out again no matter what glue you use. You can use a stud sensor to find them. If necessary, move the brace over so that it does line up with a stud before screwing/gluing it back in place.

You could use something like Liquid Nails to glue it to the wall but I would also put in larger screws into the old holes for extra support.
