How do I install 4" baseboards around a bullnose cornerbead on drywall?

Question:

Answers:
Simply cut a short piece of base about 1" long with both ends having a 22 and 1/2 degree miter. Miter the approaching ends of the base with the same miters. The short piece goes right on the corner. You have to experiment a little to find the right length that works, it should be an inch or less usually. Once you get the length right, take one of the short pieces and two mitered base pieces and go around and mark all the corners where the short corner piece will go so you have marks to measure from to cut all your longer pieces. I use wood glue and air driven 23 gage pins to hold the small piece until the glue dries.

An alternative if you are using Anderson standard profile base or other very common profile is to buy premade up curved corner pieces from a trim supplier or maybe even a home center.

Fill in the resulting void with compound, prime/seal and paint.
Your bullnose should of had a 90 degree starter piece for the bottom.
I couldn't find the answer on any of the usual websites. So, I'll try to explain it without pictures. For outside corners (bullnose) run the baseboard to the beginning of the curve with a 22.5 degree cut (long side to the curve. Do the same on the other long wall. Cut a piece approximate to the length to cover the curve with 22.5 degree cuts on both sides. Use a dremel (or something similar) to match the curve on the inside of the cut (sanding drum). GLUE it in place. Most likely the ends will be sharp and possibly protruding. Use the dremel to round the corners. Wood putty fills in all the errors. After the first 2 or 3 it gets pretty easy.

Good luck
Couldn't you simply cut the bull nose and then run the baseboard right to the outside corner? You know, so the bull nose is now sitting on top of the base?
