How do I tell if concrete is sealed or not?

Question:

Answers:
drop some water on it....if it disolves into cement it is not sealed....if it puddles on top it is sealed...
try different spots and just sprinkle drops of water...

if it has a shiny coat on it, it's sealed
The easiest way is to pour some water on it and wipe it off. If it wipes right off, sealed. If it make the concrete darker, not sealed.

I sealed our patio with a product by concrete technologies and the water rolls right off.
cut a 1 ft. sq peice of clear plastic and tape all 4 sides down to concrete, if its wet underneath its not sealed(indoors only) then to seal, go to you local wal-mart, hardware store, ect. and get some Block Filler to seal your slab. If its outside the water thing works, but let water stand for 12 to 24 hrs.
