I need to make a waterfall in my backyard and it has to be cheap!?

Question:my grandpa asked me to find out how he could make a waterfall in his backyard and i need help plz help me!!

Answers:
Making a cheep waterfall is possible, there are many materials you can use to create a nice fall for free, However you will need a pump and tubing to cycle your water.
First the free material...rocks can be picked up any where as well as several species of plants to decorate. as a catch basin you can dig a hole using the dirt to build up the wall where your water will tumble from.
You can buy EPDM rubber or ready mix concrete to form your water travel path and finishing your catch basin. Then using your rocks and stones to decorate it to your likings. Plant the flowers to make it more realistic and if you choose, strategically place lights to highlight it in the dark.

Making that type of landscaping for a back yard isn't going to be cheap. Theres a lot of supplies and labor involved. If you don't know what your doing it may get more expensive.
Best bet is to go to Home Depot or Lowes and ask some of the people there.
A nice, cheap basin to use is a child's wading pool, you know, the plastic kind. You can then use a cheap liner and put some rocks in the bottom. Use big rocks that you collect around the road side to build up a waterfall. Use a cheap water fall basin in the top. All you need now, is a small pump, some tubing and fill it with water!
