How do you get rid of mold in the bathroom?

Question:

Answers:
bleach kills the mold, but you need to check your ventilation, and check for leaks. You need to find the source of the mold after you kill it.

Bleach and water in a spray bottle.
Try a bit of neat bleach.
I use Tilex but I guess basically it is bleach in a spray bottle. Open your window and don't breath.
You start with hot soapy water, after you've got the mold off, go over it with Lysol and scrub again. rinse well if it's really bad use some bleach, it doesn't take much. Then let it air dry. Spry with Lysol from time to time, when taking a bath or shower let the room air dry, leave the door open, the window, etc or have the fan going.
You can get an anti fungal paint from Home Depot for this per pose.
mold likes warm dampness. you need to eliminate those conditions. if you have an exhaust fan, u must use it religiously when u shower or bathe. if you have a window, get a small window fan and do the same. for now you will have to treat the affected areas with a weak bleach solution. there are bathroom paints that will prevent mold but if you do not control the humidity, u will still have mold. if you have no windows and no exhaust, then u are going to have a mold battle. the only other alternatives is to put fan in door way and blow out humidity to rest of house or purchase a dehumidfier for the bathroom. good luck.
