How to Put a Whammy Bar on my Shecter Guitar?
Question:Alright, I'm sitting here with my Shecter Diamond Series Hollow body Electric Guitar, and I want to intsall a whammy. I've already scoped out a WD Music B5 Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece that I want to hook up to my guitar. Because I don't want to go out and buy a whole nother one. I want to rig it up on my Guitar, but I don't know how, or Even if I can. If you need more info on my guitar to know, ask, and I'll tell all I can find out.
But I just need to know if it's possible and how to do it.
Thanks guys,

i personally, would go to a music store to get it installed. because, you might regret it later. that way if you get it installed @ a music store, there's no way you can screw it up. another reason i wouldn't recommend installing it yourself, is because you're asking on a FindHomeAnswers forum & if you have a nice guitar like a shecter diamond series, it shouldn't the first guitar you try this on.
i personally experiment with my squire, so if i screw up, it's no big deal.

personaly, i hate whammy bars, they ruin strats for me. i never ever use them, so thats just me, but other people are free to whammy away, so i would suggest a whammy pedal, pretty much i think all you gotta do is take off your strings, bridge, tail peice, and replace it with the bigsby set up. thats just off the top of my head, i dont think its that complicated, but if you have a trusted guitar repair person, go to them. i dont advise drilling holes in guitars wich this may involve, i would buy the whammy foot pedal, or a used guitar with a bigsby.
Forget the Bigsby and look into a Kahler stud mount tremolo. They are as good as you're going to get for your guitar. http://kahlerusa.com
