I need to darken paper with tea?
Question:every one tells me all the instructions on how to do it but i need to know does it effect... well the paper i want to darken has drawings on it already and it is written on already. is that ok?

I've always darkened the paper beforehand so I don't know if it will effect your paper. The best advice I can give is to practice with the exact same type of paper and write something on it so that you can see the results.
No don't do it! it will smear the ink. but if you want to try, get another pice of papper and draw on it, then soak it. If you want a cool affect, burn the edges! Its so cool! Just light a match and run it around the edge you can do some in the middle to turn it brown !
It should be. I did that for a french project once, and the ink didn't leak or anything.

I made a 'treasure map' and it came out looking wikked. Yes, you can darken an already drawn on piece of paper. It's what I did. I just left it in a few extra minutes. It helped that the tea was piping hot.
I also did this and the tea was hot,so hot tea is the trick...I think
