What is the permitted max distance and angle of a toilet waste pipe before connection to the soil pipe?

Question:basically i'm fitting a new toilet to an internal wall which is about 12ft from the external wall of the house. Is there a required angle to which the waste outlet from the toilet must be before it reaches the soil pipe to ensure when flushing all waste flows out of the house to the soil pipe.

Answers:
Haven is correct! 1/4" per foot would be about 3" of fall from where the toilet is to the exterior wall, not 8" as someone said. Just make sure you are using the proper fittings, and take a 2" vent up through the roof. Also, make sure you have enough room to fit all the required fittings in, and still have the proper fall to tie in to the main sewer. If you have any doubts, have a plumber advise you, and make sure this is all legally done, with permits, so that there are no repercussions, if you ever try and sell the house. Good luck!

37.5 inches.
1/4 inch per running foot. more than that will leave the solids behind. less than that will plug the pipe.
the fall has to be 50mm per meter so you would need 200mm which is approx 8" over your 12 ft, if you absolultly had to you could get away with 6" over that span but fit a rodding eye on the soil pipe as you exit the external wall that way any problems will be easily solvable.
normal fall is 1 in 40 ..to allow self cleansing ..max bend is a 45
No, there is no set angle for the pipe. In fact it can be level because the force of the flushing will push the waste straight into the soil pipe.
Hi,
The angle is pre set on the soil pipe branch at (112 1/2 deg')
You will fined the branch on the main soil stack riser and this is were the out go from the WC pan is fitted. You can always take the angle from the branch with an adjustable bevel.Your 12 ft distance will not be a problem if you stick to the112 1/2deg' angle.
Be Safe, Skew
It needs to fall at a rate of 1/4 inch per foot of travel but should not exceed 6 feet in length, where I live anyway, unless it is the waste lateral (soil pipe)
