Bleaching a colored fabric?

Question:I have a patterned fabric that is much too red, is there any way of bleaching it to make it more pink? Its a french toile pattern, very expensive so, I dont want to ruin it or change it funny colors. Any ideas?

Answers:
several options, if you got bleach on hand make a soaking mixture up. Fill your soaking basin up enough to submerge your fabric well and add just a small amount of bleach and agitate the liquid. About a 9:1 ratio on mix. Add your fabric and stir your fabric around for about 2-3 minutes and wash out. If still too red, repeat.
Good luck!

you should be able to buy a fabric dye like rit, they sell that at walmart
