Who else out there has that annoying Orkin ad that pops up on YA?
Question:Every time that I return to the Y/A question categories, that stupid Orkin ad with the roach getting mugshots pops up in that little window (upper left)
I would'nt mind, but the sound effects of the camera are totally annoying!! Is there some way that that thing can be changed or silenced without muting my computer or turning on my media player?? Is there anybody else out there that thinks that thing should go?? Makes me not want to call Orkin if I need an exterminator.

Count me in on that. It is annoying, and I haven't found a way to turn it off yet, but I haven't tried hard either.

I think we all have it and I don't think anything but muting the total sound will help. I have been trying to avoid this section to keep that noise from showing up.
Turn the sound off. I hate the Orkin ad too.
Maybe we could all go into the politics section of Y!A and post a bizajillion questions on how we all hate the Orkin ad.

Yes I get the same thing, and have not figured out a way to get rid of it.
ONE THING I KNOW, IF THE BUG CARRY MY HOUSE I WILL NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN. I can`t stop them from making me mad, but I can stop them from using my money to do it.
I also have the same Orkin ad and it is really disturbing. I have no idea how it got there or how to get rid of it. Will be watching your answers to see if someone knows how to exterminate the Orkin bug!
I hate all of those adds over on the left side. They all annoy me. I got so sick of the one for the movie "23" I thought I would scream.

I agree completely. One of the other pest control companies in my area is going to get my business as a result of Orkin's annoying ad.
Yeah, it took me a couple of hours to figure out that the annoying sound was coming from that ad. My speakers are turned off because I found it so distracting.
