Immediate, Christian spirit project ideas?
Question:I have to do a project on Christianity and how it affects me, but I don't know what to do. Some kids have done a scrapbook of their lives from Baptism to Confirmation, but I have no pictures of those things! Some kids made shadow boxes with their baptism candle, holy eucharist pin, etc, I have none of that either. Some kids plant flowers in a pot symbolizing "Growing in Christ" and paint the pot, but I'm not good with flowers and my cat would eat it. I have no idea what to do, but it's due in 2 weeks and my parents said I need to do it now. I tried googling it, but there's nothing on there either. I need help and any suggestion you can come up with can help, I'm open to many ideas!

Pick a psalm, passage, or verse and use it to illustrate your walk with Christ. The 23rd psalm is a classic. Pictures off of the Internet, or of your youth group would be great. It can be a poster or perhaps a power point presentation.
Be creative and show your individuality.
Blessings on this endeavor.
What are you good at? Pray, ask God for help. Others may be good at scrapbooking, planting, etc... Whats your talent. Use that. Draw from what God has given you naturally.
As for me, I am talented in baking. I once used a cake as an example for God. Just got a regular box cake mix and explain how the box alone is not the cake. In order to get the result that's picture on the front (the beautiful cake) you must follow the directions on the back of the box. In order. Just as the bible has directions. When you open the box, there's no cake. It's like our faith. We have confident hope. If we do what we are instructed to do, He if faithful to fullfil his promise.
I agree with Quella B. Just find out your talent and use it to the Glory of God.
Make a case like for an iPod for your New Testament. It's part of your everyday life. It doesn't need to look out-of-place. Maybe make a couple of them for different occasions, like one to go on a belt. The idea isn't to camouflage it, but to make it as natural as an adult taking along a driver's license.
Completely different tangent, fill a compact music device with inspirational materials so The Word could be with you and drown out other influences.
Good luck on self-guided growth.
you don't necessarily need photos to create a scrapbook - you can create a story with words. If you are wanting to add photos look for things to go with your journaling and take pictures of them. There are scrapbook designers that are famous for scrapbooking ordinary things like their daily routines - so with this example say you wanted to write about your daily life routine - a photo to include might be of a clock. etc.
Keeping spirituality in mind maybe you have an item that helps you in your journey and you could take a photo of that and then scrapbook the story. Maybe you have a friend or a pastor that has guided you in your spirituality and you could use a photo of that person and journal the rest - or like I said just be creative with the journaling - the story is sometimes more valuable than the photos.
