How do I get the correct fabric measurements for a bassinet cover?

Question:I want to make a bassinet cover for a friend's baby shower. I need the yardage of material I will need. The measurements of the bassinet is 33" long, 19" wide, 40" high and 10" deep

Answers:
When I made our bassinette cover, I just fitted yardage of material and pinned it on inside out. That showed me where to put a seam to which you add seam allowance. The skirt is roughly twice the width for fullness.

Joann Fabrics have patterns that you could reference to find the approximate yardage.
The salespeople are helpful too.
