How do you apply roof coating on a mobile home?

I did this on a shipping container. I wore some old shoes and pants first of all. Pour it out into the roof. They sell a large tar brush at the home stores. Usually by the roofing material. Use that to pread it on thick. For tight areas use big cheap Paint brush. Throw them away when your done.
take a paint roller and extension handle...mix contents and pour on and roll easiest and fastest way, start one side and work your back
We slapped it on w/an old deck mop
there should be a required Knapp of roller on the can /bucket . I just roll it on after doing 6inches to 1 ft alone edges with smaller roller or brush and any hard places first . Its less messy that way. No over run on side of trailer. Good luck
The other answers are right.I just a 3/4 inch nap for my roller.But have you considered putting a real roof over the metal roof?It would cost 2 or 3 thousand but you will save big on heating and cooling.Plus a higher resale if that time comes.I would say the roof will pay for it self in 4 or 5 years[mine did] It was A LOT cooler in the summers.I never have to paint the roof again.
