Repair for button on leather tufted ottoman?

Question:I have a leather ottoman with leather covered buttons. The leather and 'cap' came off of one of the buttons; however the base of the button remains intact. I cannot figure out how to reattach the leather covering and cap back onto the button base. Any advice? Thanks!

Answers:
you can buy a replacement button at graysupholstry.com. you might need to get the needle to insert it. its cheap don't worry.. push the needle trough the same hole with the button string installed. pull it out the bottom and tie. if you still have the old button you can use that. u need a long upholstry needle

super glue it back on.(carefully)
