My immersion header tank overflow is leaking.?

Question:Should I attend to it now or do I leave it until my house falls down?

Answers:
Hi,
The ball valve in the tank needs rewashering or replacing, best thing to do is go to a DIY store purchase a new ball valve and float, get hold of 2 adjustable pipe wrenches, turn of the cold water at the mains, take out the old ball valve and replace it with new; No problem for some one like you.
Be Safe, Skew.

LOL my mates immersiontank overflowed last night and screwed their walls.. I'd get it sorted if you want a house to live in lol
Get insured with b gas and then call them out.
nahhhhhh dont worry about it, just think you will soon have your own indoor heated swimming pool how cool is that , just stay on here and answer ouestions.
Your overflow is overflowing because there is a fault with the ball valve fitted in the tank. Replace or repair, its your choice.
always deal with water problems a.s.a.p. Your problem seems to be that your buoyancy ball in the header tank is not shutting down your cold water value. Could be that the actual ball has lost buoyancy.you will be able to check this by lifting the arm GENTLY, to see if the water value shuts down. If its does, then your need to replace the ball. Remember to turn off water and make sure no water is getting into header tank via value. IF your not sure how to do this get a plumber in its cheaper then repairing water damage.
buy a new house
i would leave it untill the house falls down..because header tanks are usually high up ..so when they come down it will be easy to reach which will also save money on ladders etc...!.hows that..
