What is the best way to kill and remove grass and plants from a stone covered yard?

The best way, quite seriously, is to put down preventive measures so grass won't get there in the first place. For example, weed mats or even black plastic between the soil and rock layers will do just fine.
use a pump up sprayer and diesel fuel make sure to do it on a hot day and no chance of rain this will do nicely.
