After you start a project, how do you stay motovated to finish?

Question:

Answers:
try not to let it drag on too long. i found that if i take it slow and get close to being done, it's much easier to lose motivation.

yea that is the only hard part to a project, well I would say when you get tired of it, give it a little rest then you will start thinking about it and get back to it
If i was you i would keep thinking in my head ok i got to do this and think of how many people might be impressed on that project of yours. and just think of you dominating all the other peoples projects
Give your self a dead line. And please finish anything you have started before you start a new project. When you
think about a project, develop a timeline. My husband likes to do the first 90-95 % of a job. the last 5 -10% takes years. Very frustrating. Our deck was 4 years in the process!
And it has not been stained or treated yet (3 years after he called it structurally finished.)
unfortunately it is hard finishing a new project but the easiest way to complete it is to just think of ow good it will look when your done and how good you'll feel when everyone asks who did it for you, and you'll be able to answer it did!
Do a little bit on it each day set a time and stick to it, before you know it your done
Sometimes there's a lull in motivation but I just look forward to seeing the finished product and being happy with what i've accomplished.

Get a wife! LOL Set a schedule do at least something a set amount of days a week. Some days you'll feel like doing more but always do the work. Before you know it you'll be done. Break the task dow into managable phases also keep a big project from becoming daunting.
Set completion dates for parts ofthe poject. It'll help you stay focused and keep on time.
leave it sitting out until you are finished, this way you'll have to get it done so you can put it away.
im motivated by my desire to see what it looks like when its done...
Break a big project into small parts and arrange to leave the site tidy and livable at the end of each part.
Write a plan and tick off each completed part.
Lots of ticks remind you of your successes when things are going touch in the middle.
When you remodel a kitchen or bathroom it's self motivating unless you can live with the mess. Do give yourself a deadline and keep plugging away. Seeing the results as it happens seems to help us, makes us enticed to get it done.
The good lady wife takes care of that part of the project.
Only one way to stay motivated for me. Plan a reward! It's a form of payback for when you get too tired to continue. It may be just a big glass of your favorite drink or something really special. I like to plan events after I work on the house so that there is a time limit to "get ur done" and a fun experience at the end of the trail.. then others can appreciate my work as well.
An afternoon nap keeps me motivated.
