For sewer lines, when to use black ABS or white pipes?

Question:

Answers:
the black [abs] pipe will become brittle and may crack over a period of time. the white pvc as long as its not exposed to uv [sunlite] will remain somewhat pliable. when connecting one to another be sure to use transition glue or the joint will fail. also there is a uv resistant pvc, but you must ask for it specifically - 40 year plumber

I have found almost no difference between the two but my landscaper and plumber swear by the more expensive PVC.
You can use ether or the black or the white PVC for the pig lines (the ones with the holes in it) up to you
Both will do
