Do you need to l put lyle in soap?

Question:Do you need to l put lyle in soap? Can you just use an organic oil soap base? THANKS!

Answers:
If there is no lye there is no soap. Yes, all soap is made with sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide (for liquid soap). If you don't want to work with the lye, then buy the soap bases --or melt and pour soaps. You can get quite creative with melt and pour or soap noodles!

depends on how dirty Lyle is.
There are different types of soap. Traditional soaps are lye-based. Another type is glycerine-based. You can do a web search for soap recipes.
