How do I clean my pool?
Question:My Vaccum cleans the floor and brings it back thru the jets!!! what do i need to do! my pool gets cloudy and green really fast!! HELP PLEASE HELP!!

Start with a Shock. It's granulated chlorine and it will cloud your pool for a couple of days, but disperses chlorine evenly. Next, go to your local pool store and buy something for the algae. A clerk should be able to tell you what's best for your size pool.
Get a different vacuum that sucks in the dirt and keeps it in a bag that you can empty later.

Check to see if you have a "Leslie's Pool" in your area. They are great. They test your water for free & answer all your questions.
Your vacuum shouldn't be letting all the debris back thru the jets. Make sure the bag doesn't have any holes in it. There could be a problem with the pump also. There are chemicals to stop the cloudy water as well as green. You need to visit a pool store.
Are you using a sand filter have you back washed it before you use the vacuum. If your pump is not strong it will not vac very good maybe you are going too fast. If you have a lot of alge you have to go slower when you vac and backwash several times to keep the sand clean enough to capture more alge and the pressure up on the pump. It is like comparing it to a pile of dirt on carpet and the vac bag is full .
