Any suggestions on inexpensive yet good quality kitchen cabinets!?
Question:I want to redo my kitchen as a DIY project. I am leaning towards IKEA but if there are any other decent yet inexpensive cabinets to be had I would appreciate any advice.

Mail order cabinets are a coming trend. Advantages include high quality, uniformity, excellent choice and low cost. Have a look at the article at the link (suppliers are listed with contact info). There is some complexity to it -- primarily making sure yoiu get measurements right and order all the components -- but it's an approach I intend to investigate when I redo my kitchen next year.
I've been looking into this too. Ikea seems to be the best bet. Their cabinets rank higher in quality than all the others I saw. Have you checked out IkeaFans.com? They were a big help when I was trying to decide. I haven't bought them yet but I plan on it! Good luck!
Funny I saw your Q and thought IKEA then clicked on it and great minds think a like. Our rental has just been done by a Pro rip off what a mess I thought hubby and I could have done better with Ikea and so many choices too. Any way have fun with what ever you decide
oh my ikea is way too spendy i got mine from parr lumber they have a really great selection and you can check out thier cabnit outlet too if you need cheaper ones, but they also are only in the pacific north west! but losts cheaper! good luck we are remodaling our house that is over 100 years old!
I would try home depot..they have nice cabinets and they are not that expensive
Shop the big box stores-- they have a range of different quality cabinets and prices. I am just not a big IKEA fan
I completely remodeled my kitchen 2 years ago and bought all my cabinets from Home Depot. I have been very pleased with them. They were easy to assemble and when I did have a few problems i called the 800 number of the company that made them and was shipped the replacement parts for them very quickly.
