You ask this under DIY?? Pardon me, but isn't a good wife a matter of perspective? Like a good husband, a good dog (or other animal) or a good business partner?
What would you expect from a wife? What would you be willing to give her in order to get this? A relationship is not a "contract" (altho many feel it is) but rather it is an exchange of ideals and space for personal growth.
What is a good wife? This question is loaded and fully relative. I think it depends on your perspective.
