Can tempered glass be cut?

Question:

Answers:
No tempered glass cannot be cut, unless it wasn't tempered properly. However it can be machined down on a manual curved edging machine available at shops that do bevelling in shop. Although it's probably cheaper to just buy a new piece of glass.

Yes -- but it is best left to a professional glass cutter. Check the yellow pages for one near you. I recently had some cut and the cost was minimal.

Do you need it polished also?
I hate to disagree with Frutti but I'm pretty sure you can't cut tempered glass
I think when you start to cut it, you will walk out with 10 zillion little cubic pieces. I would say, then, no, y ou can't cut it.
NO. The glass must be cut and then tempered. After it is tempered you have two choices. 1- Be happy with its size or 2- get another piece cut to the new size and have it tempered. If you try to cut it, it will break into a zillion pieces.
