I'm a girl trying to do a man's job... help!?
Question:I cannot turn off the sprinklers in the front! I did 2 times before, but this 3rd set of sprinklers (all the water supplied by the SAME fountain) but it will not turn whatsoever. The other times it did, but now it suddenly won't.
I tried the latch- it worked- until I realized it shut off the WHOLE ENTIRE HOUSE'S water.
Please help! My dad is gone for a week.

Ask a neighbor to help you, or somebody you know from work or church or something. After they help you, give them a nice batch of homebaked cookies.
If that doesn't work, call a plumber.
Since when i s turning off sprinklers a man's job? If it's supplied by a hose, isn't there a knob outside that you can tighten to turn it off? Or, if it's a sprinkler system, there should be a control box in the house that has an off switch or different settings that you can play with.
