How do i build a tree house, without the tree?
Question:I need yo know how to make one with no tree just wood, it has to be off of the ground.
Answers:
Treated 4 x 6 might be the stilts, and dependant on how high you want the structure off the ground will dictate their length. Add at least 2 or 3 ft. to bury in holes in which you will also pour concrete. Plumb the posts as the concrete sets and cures.
Treated lumber and galvanized screws and nails for construction, creating floor framing and floor surface first, then build up. The construction can be similar to a regular frame house.

Use 6"x6" pressure treated posts, dig holes about 18" deep & put the posts in & fill with concrete.
