Can I re-stucco over existing fiberglass stucco (not EIFS) Actual stucco applied to concrete cinder block ?

Question:My house was built about 20 years ago out of concrete cinder block and fiberglass stucco was applied directly to the cinder block. It is needing some repair, can I apply over the old stucco?

Answers:
IDK on re-application but we use a surface bonding adhesive I think it's called Sur-Wal. It's white color with a fibrous strands that look like fiberglass. We've used it for wellhouses and I've not heard a complaint yet!!
