Vinegar and old newspaper.
They work very well on stuck on tape residue, as well. There will be no streaks or lint left on glass or mirror.

try magic eraser, I have used that on my shower doors and it works wonders
i have always used vinegar and for really bad ones a paste of salt and vinegar -- scrub the glass and rinse well (this works for shower doors best)

a simple half of a potato or peel will do the trick.just smear it on,leave a few min n wipe with newspaper.
