There is a bad smell coming from bathroom sink. How do i get rid of it?

Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain. Heat up until simmering, 1 cup of white vinegar, and pour down the drian after you have poured in the baking soda. This will foam up quite a bit. However, it will kill the bacteria that is causing the bad smell. In addtiion, the "boiling" vinegar, which is a mild acid, will help remove and loosen "sediment" from the walls of the pipes. Flush well with water (run hot water for about 2 minutes, followed by cold water for about 2 minutes). This will help clean out your pipes and get rid of the smell.

Clean it very well with a sink unclogger and them pour som Lysol concentrated down the sink. Its the small brown bottle of Lysol.
The drain is probably backed up, either have it rodded or take the old plunger to it. Tape up the overflow hole, get a small plunger and try to suck the gunk up, clean up with paper towels.

I had the same problem with my kitchen sink and my aunt suggested using vinegar. I poured in about 3/4 cup of vinegar in the drain and let it sit until I used the sink again that night to wash dishes. By the next day, the smell was gone!
You can try pouring baking soda down the drain and follow with white vinegar. Let it bubble up and then rinse with plain water. The combination will clean it out.

if you havent just put a drain cleaner resently simply pour about a cup of bleach down the drain let sit for a few hours then ru hot water down the drain.
