How to demolish a small outside wood utiltity house with porch and windows and doors.?

Question:Can one just attach a chain to one of the posts holding up the overhang orver the porch or should one take a crow bar and remove as much wall as possible. The floor on the inside is rotted and dangerous to walk on.

Answers:
I'd use a recipricating saw (saws-all) to remove the windows from the outside. Then If you do not wish to salvage anything else. Chain a wall and yank.

You remove the windows because removing all the broken glass is more of a pain and much more dangerous than the use of the saws-all.

Take a crowbar and remove as much as you can than deal with the rest of it
You can just snatch it down but you will have to use a pry bar to tear it pror to hauling it away.
Toltec has it right..Please remove the windows first...
However...depending on the area you live in, you might need a permit to demolish the building...(safety codes and all that) and you also need to have a plan to remove the debree afterwards. Another good way is to use a sledge hammer (helps with all that nasty pent up anger LOL).
Good luck and have fun with it!
I have demolished a few buildings and I did it under complete control. In fact if you do it right you'll have some fun. Just be carefull that you consider your plan of attack.

Start at the top and work you way down. Have Fun!
