I can help you with this, You need to buy a wallpaper remover.( a liquid) and a paper -tiger, (a wall paper scoring tool,) a scraper knife,(not a putty knife) and you'll need a sponge, hot water, and a spray bottle might be help full. I only suggested to buy a Paper tiger, because they are easy to use, and does the job well. You can get whatever scoring tool you want to. Than Score, Spray with the remover mix (or you can sponge it on,But Hot WATER is the trick here.) than let stand,or sink in, then you can use the scraper. The thing to getting it off is hot water. Bye
If you're lucky, it's dry-strippable wallpaper. Find a corner and try peeling it gently. If the wallpaper comes off intact without bringing the wall with it, just peel the rest off, wash down the wall, and you're done.
If it rips or seems too firmly stuck, though, you are probably doomed to a long, annoying removal process that I am not able to describe.
you can use a steamer to steam the wallpaper and they'll just peel off. i think you can rent them at home depot.
Ok i have tried it all! I bought a Steamer, it was slow and cumbersome to work with. I used the tiger that scored it and then i was taking off little pieces it took forever. Tried the remover solution, did ok but is expensive. So i learned from a friend that you could use water, bucket and a sponge. The trick is to soak your sponge in water, and apply alot to the wall, start at the top and soak the wall paper untill it turns a darker color. soak a whole sheet at one time and begin to peal at the corner, it comes off in one large sheet. My son and I did our master bedroom that is 500 square feet in about 8 hours. then just go back over it with a wet rag and wipe any residue from the glue, and fix up any inperfections in your wall and paint
