How much area will a 52 inch fan cool?
Question:
Answers:
There is one more thing you need to consider, and that is the distance of the fan from the ceiling. The National Electrec Code says a fan is to be no closer than 7' above the finished floor.
So, for maximum cooling, use a downrod that allows you to get as close to that heighth as possible. You can also purchase remote controls that have thermostats built in and automatically adjust the speed of the fan.
A 52" fan will keep an average bedroom quite cool, but should not be expected to go more then a 20'x20' room. At that point, it is best to install 2 fans.
All a fan does is circulate the air; if the air is warm, you're just blowing warm air around.
If you really want to bring down the temperature, then you need an air conditioner.
it is good for 226 to 400 square feet. so a room that is 20 feet by 20 feet
