How to make a homemade lock?
Question:I have a cheap lock on my bathroom door. I don't have a key to it, but my brother always gets in by pickin the lock. I can't lock the door and go away cuz I don't have the key. If I use my brother's bathroom he goes balistic and beats me up. He gets to use my bathroom freely but I don't get to use his freely. I need a homade lock with a key that is hard to get into. PLEASE HELP!

Talk to your parents about installing a small barrell bolt lock or a hook and eye latch. Either of these options are fairly inexpensive (under $5). You could possibly prop a chair back at an angle under the doorhandle. But seriously talk to your folks about it. They might get mad if you damage the door or the frame with a homemade lock.
First go to your parents, secondly, two eye bolts and a zip tie, or a slide latch should do the trick.
Use a wedge at the bottom of the door. Remember all this in a few years when your brother comes to you for a loan.
