The COST to make a sandbox 5x5 or 6x6?
Question:I am needing to know how much it would cost me to make a sandbox--- materials and sand.

Go to the local Home depot and ask for "cull" lumber and maybe some quick drawn plans. A sandbox is fairly simple to construct. Then go down to the Garden department and ask for the broken bags of sand. With some sweet talking you can get out alot cheaper than you might think.
Cost can range depending on material. I recommend when purchasing sand that you make sure to tell them its for a sand box, cause construction grade may be cheaper but sand will stain clothes and skin. although not harmful will make cleanup a little tougher. A local construction job, landscaper may have scrap wood rail road ties and you can purchase sand by the yard,ton etc from a quarry or pit. This method may require a delivery charge or a peer with a heavy duty pickup.
