I have bought a replacement 4 wire plug for my dryer, but need help with what to connect each wire to?

Question:The 3 wire plugs are all grey, the new 4 wire has a green wire which is the ground, and a red, white and black wire. The back of the dryer show a L1, N, L2 in a diagram, but I do not know which wire goes to which (L1, N, or L2) I am pretty sure white goes to the N, can you please help

Answers:
Red and black to L1 and L2 doesnt matter which one they are both hots, and white to N and the green to the to green ground screw on dryer and if there is a jumper wire from the N to the Ground screw in the dryer make sure to remove , That is in place for a 3 prong cord

Your manual for the dryer should have the diagram for wiring, but so should the online manual on the manufacturer website.hope that helps!
YES THE WHITE IS GROUND AND THE OUTHERS ARE HOT.. THATS THE BLACK AN RED GREEN IS 4 SAFETY
