Waterproof sealent?

Question:Whats a good waterproof sealent (brand, etc.) that I probably already have in my garage somewhere?

Answers:
that was funny.good one.:naw" lol.made me giggle. nice one.mr sircastic.

For what?
I agree with Snoony,

With waterproofing it is never about the products, it is about the problem and the solution. Often solutions involve many factors which can include products.
Naturally, knowing where you plan to use the sealant would be very helpful.

However, whether indoors or out, the best sealant I have ever used is a commercial grade of gutter seal and comes in a squeeze tube or a caulking tube.

It is silver in colour and remains flexible and does not shrink. The surface it is applied to must be positively clean before application. "Gutter Seal" is the name and is available at Lowes and possibly Walmart.

Another good sealant is automotive "Blue RTV" sealant but is not as good as gutter seal for household applications.

That should do well for you.
I agree with the others...it's very important to be specific as to the task...be careful if you're looking for one that needs to be food grade
