How do you remove plaster?

Question:Just purchased a wonderful house at a great deal. I hate the plaster deisgns on the ceilings.

Answers:
you need to get a plasterer to skim the ceiling. This is the only way to get a nice flat ceiling again.

You're in for a lot of trouble if you try to remove it.
Just get some 1/4" drywall and have someone help you put it up, tape it and paint it..trust me this is your easiest bet.

The above methods will give you a slightly lowe ceiling. Call in some one to have it scraped and sanded away and put a layer of plaster and paint.
