How do I remove silly putty from remote control buttons?
Question:I bought silly putty and accidentally got it on the remote control buttons. The buttons are rubbery if that helps. I got it off but accidentally got it on the telephone whose buttons are the same. I got it off by putting the silly putty on and quickly removing it, but its not working for the phone.
Answers:
spray a little WD-40 on a dry cloth and wipe it where the putty is. It will work.
use bue ice pack to freeze, pick off with needle
First dont put it on things liek that it works best with newspaper
try ice it will work
