What is the best insulation to use under laminate flooring being layed on a concrete floor in a conservatory?

you need a moisture proof membrane on top of the screed floor first.I used square green fibre insulation boards ,from B & Q which I thought was better than the thinner plastic bubble stuff on a roll.Can.t remember what it was called now.Comes in packs of about 10 boards a pack.The boards are about 2ft square and can be cut to fit.I laid my floor in the conservtory about 6 years ago and it has been fine. no problems.
First you must use a polythene membrane to stop the damp
rising. You can use any underlay special to wooden flooring
which can be bought with the flooring.

You must use a vapour barrier and the one usually used is a "plastic foam sandwich", I do not remember its name but comes from the same shop as the flooring.
It's called 4 in 1 underlayment. U can buy at Lowes or Home Depot.
if the conservatory has been built right then it should have a waterproof already under the floor ..to see if you have any damp in floor lay a plastic bowl upside down on the floor ..leave it there for a night ..remove in morning ..if you have a membrane then the floor will show nothing ..but if there is any moisture in floor it will be damp under bowl ..i guarantee this method beats all others ..if its damp you will need the underlay with silver foil on outside ..if OK ..then the green packs from band q ..will do fine
you will need something at least 5mm thick and with a foil back.
