Is it acceptable to vent a shower and bathtub using a single 11/2 inch vent pipe with a tee or vent separately

Question:

Answers:
You can vent up to eight fixtures units on 1 1/2 vent pipe according to UPC.

A bathtub and a shower totals 4 fixture units. Maximum developed length is 60 feet. That's a long vent isn't it!

Your ok. Tie the vents together and run it out the roof.

I'll post this, but I'll still look it up. If I'm wrong, I'll edit.

YES BUT you should check your local code as some do take developed length into consideration besides fixture units

I have been using this method for years, When you provide a vent there is no chance of the trap being "sucked-dry"
Yes
