Are you creative? Maybe you can help me?

Question:My kids have a metal wagon (it's kindof a gardening cart). I want to turn it into a covered wagon (you know, Little house on the prairie type) Any ideas? I was thinking of using PVC pipe and some canvas cloth, but how should I attach it? Thanks

Answers:
I would use metal pallet strap material. It will be flat, and flexible enough. You can then drill through the wagon and strap stuff to rivet it onto the sides. If you don't always want a cover on it, you should be able to bend the strap material into decent bracket shaped items that could hold the normal riveted stuff.

Also, the strap mateial is junk once the pallets get where they're going. See if you know anybody who gets a lot of supplies, and they most likely come across a few every now and then.

Duct Tape or Gorilla glue u can get it at most hardware stores
I think the plastic they use for water piping would be flexible enough for that purpose.
Try a plumbing warehouse.
The pvc pipe would work just fine. you will need a drill and some rivets or bolts to attach the pipe to the metal. Craft glue or crazy glue would work on the canvas. To make it a little more secure you can put eyelets in the canvas and use your rivets or bolts and nuts.
I would get a couple of hula hoops; cut them in half so you have the curve you need; Attach them to the metal with super glue or gorilla glue. Cover with some canvas material; (a painters drop cloth from Wal Mart maybe?) attach the canvas to the hula hoops with grommets or even more super glue. Hope this helps.
Half inch pvc thin wall will work great. There cheap tools that add eyelets. Lash it to the wagon for that authenic look.
