What kind of sink will make a difference as to what you can use... stainless steel, enameled, solid surface, or plastic?
Stainless steel - you can use any paint stripper without harming this type
Enameled - You can use the milder paint removers, or thinners... if you use something like acetone, then use it by applying it with a damp cloth, and wipe with a wet rag immediately. Acetone will etch into an enameled finish if it is left to set too long.
Solid surface - try scraping the paint off with a plastic putty knife - AVOID using any of the common paint strippers.
Plastic - Again, scrape with a plastic putty knife - the paint strippers will eat into the plastic.
Oh... if you use paint strippers -- be sure to flush the drain quite a bit... you don't want any of the solution to be left sitting in a plastic drain for long, hehehe.
Good Luck
what kind of paint? if it hasn't dried yet and it is water-based, just use soap and warm water. if it is oil-based, you need some kind of solvent like turpentine or trisodium phosphate. if it has dried however, i'm afraid a razor blade is the only option, or maybe some fine sandpaper.
get a good past type furniture pant stripper
Try rubbing alcohol. It will break down most paints on solid surfaces.
