What's the best way to install screws into the door frame for a pull up bar?

Question:All I have is a normal screwdriver and it sucks.

Answers:
Drill a small pilot hole (1/8") first. If not you will split the door frame. 1-1/2" to 2" deck screws would be sufficient. If use any longer it may suck the door frame in to tight and compromise the closing of the door.

Oops... didn't see that you only have a screwdriver. Better tighten your grip if you can't get a drill and muscle those screws in.

BORROW A POWER DRILL/DRIVER FROM SOMEONE! 3 1/2 inch deck screws or lag bolts.
Screw two inch wood screws into the door frame ensuring that you hit the door frame.
