Whats the average price for a 10 foot section of steel conduit tubing?

Question:I think thats what its called... Im making a phat chopper bike and I need some of that tubing.

Answers:
Price depends upon the diameter. 1/2" $2.50-3.00, 3/4" $4.00-5.00, 1" $8.00-9.00.

You really don't want to use conduit for your project. Conduit bends rather easily. Not sure what you should use, this project is a bit out of my area. Just know you should not use conduit.

If your are talking about using electrical conduit you will have a nasty surprise when you go for a ride. Your bike will bend and fold up. EMT has very little strength.

There are thousands of steel alloys out there. You can call your local metal yard and tell them what you are doing and ask what type of steel they recommend and a price quote.
Also it depends if you are talking about heavy wall conduit and again 1/2", 3/4" 1", or 1 1/4". It's heavy and probably not what your looking for. True it is rigid, up to a point but it breaks too.
Good Luck ! ! !
