I have a Vermont casting gas grill-I would like to convert from LP to natural gas?

Question:I have a vermont casting gas grill with 3 burners and was wondering how complicated it would be to convert it from lp to natural gas.I can easily run the gas line etc...I am mainly wondering about the orafices and the gas valve on the grill itself. No matter how many spare tanks I keep around it seems I am off to exchange or get one filled in the middle of cooking dinner-we use the grill at least once a day thrue the season.

Thanks

Answers:
The Vermont Castings website has some manuals that describe exactly how to convert from propane to natural gas for specific models. Without knowing which model you have, I can't tell you which manual to view. You can find their whole catalog of conversion manuals at the link shown below.

Buying their conversion kit allows you to know you'll have the right parts and quantities for your grill.

you would have to find the proper orfacices and would have to change out the spring in the gas valve, and find the right water column that the grill would require, right off hand i cannot remember what size ya need, get someone that does furnace work to help you out
