How to hang a 45 pound wall mirror?

Question:

Answers:
All good answers, but also use two D-ring hangers instead of wire to balance out the weight

Depends on what you're hanging it on? Drywall, plaster, concrete?
first find the studs in the wall and then get some big nails and put in the wall it Will hold it up
Good luck don't break it 7years bad luck if you do
Make sure that you find a stud in the wall and put a nail or screw into the stud. If the mirror is wide enough, it would be better to put a nail or screw into two studs to better suport it.
I am about to do the same thing.
If it doens't have something on the back to hang it with, you will need to buy a picture hanging kit at Home Depot. Then after u put that on, find 2 studs in the wall and put sturdy screws and hang it like that, then you need to put mirror
clips, clear plastic things on the edges so hold it steady so when it cleaned, etc.
Go to a good hardware store and look for the appropriate anchors, screws, or nails to use to hang a heavy object. Be sure to hang your mirror on a stud in the wall.
Find where the studs are in the wall, get stud anchors! something that heavy will need them.
very carefully
Buy some of those amazing hooks they show on TV. they are supposed to hold up to 250 pounds.
I have used them to hang a couple of shelves and they work great. I don*t know if they advertised 250 # is true or not, but it*s worth a try for ten bucks. and you don*t need to go into a stud, they hang on drywall.
