Hos big should a dug hole be for an in-ground basketball goal?
Question:I recently was given a basketball and some concrete. I need to dig a hole in order to instal the goal... how big of a hole do I need to dig to properly install the goal?

The depth depends on the height of the goal. Recommend at least 2 feet deep, but three is better.
first of all how big and wide is the pole. I once installed a 8ft wooden pole about 3-5 ft good luck.
Depends on the basketball goal. Some have a separate piece that gets put into concrete, some ask for sand. Buy your goal first, read directions(will be very specific), then start digging. Sugg. Invite a friend to help!
