Does anyone know if the Drain Tiles are worth the money they claim to be??
Question:I just put up a 12x3ft pool in my backyard and ohhh the mud around the pool is driving me crazy. I started looking for something to correct the problem. I found these instant drain tiles. They are plastic, and for 6 of them they are like $30.00
I need to get at least 8 sets!! I think for plastic it is a little pricey...but if they are worth it and fix my problem I will take the plunge and buy them!! But I don't exactly have almost $300.00 to find out they are crap!! HELPPPPPPP!! I am tired of MUD!

Yeah, the mud around these things is THE problem with them. I finally just threw down a (vinyl) tarp and stuck it down with plastic tent stakes. $20, done. The grass was a goner anyway.Just pick a good place in the lawn for a permanent dead spot...

Drain tiles will not do anything for your mud thing. you need a small deck or concrete pad,but with the $300.the only thing you can do is to get some beach or drainage sand(same thing)spread the sand 3 or4 feet around the pool this will fix the mud thing.
