How do I burn receipts on a stove top?

First , fill a pot with gasoline, put it on the stove,then add the paper, lite with a blow torch and your done...
It would make more since to shred them, either with a paper shredder or cut into small pieces with scissors. You could always burn them in your bar-b-que grill.
Buy a shredder for 15 - 20 dollars.
Shredding is the safest way, all around. The next would be outside in a metal pot or drum. Cover it with fine mesh metal screen to reduce the sparks from blowing in the wind.
But on the stove, get/use an old deep pot. Get one of those cooking screens that prevent grease from popping on you. Cover it with that for safety.
