I wanna make a cute toy?

Question:I'm learning to sew, and I would like to develop a plushie (either a pig or a kitty). I want it to be compact, cute, and pretty easy to make. any ideas where I could find a project or patterns that meet that?

Any fabric store has all sorts of patterns like that. Any craft store too, come to think of it.

Once you have done one to pattern, you can customize it and make it your own. Sell the heck out of them!
