Question:Pouring a pad 12 by 18 and 8 inches thick...How much concrete will I need?

order 5 1/2 yards , but your grade will have to be close. if unsure of grade order 5 3/4 yds. tell them 3500 lb. mix and i would have fiber added...

27 cu ft in a yard. 12 x 18 x .66 = cu yds. order a tad more than what you need.
To figure concrete you multiply length X Width X Depth in Decimal and then / by 27,
12 x 18 = 216
216 x .66 = 142.5
142.5 / 27 = 5.3 yards
its just that easy.
To calculate cubic yardage of your pad and for future reference.
Length times Width (round up to nearest foot) times thickness in inches, divide by 300.
